Cool & Unique Subscription Boxes You Had No Idea Existed

Unique subscription boxes are not that hard to find, you know? In the last 5-10 years this niche has developed so much that you can find cool & unique subscription boxes about almost everything: from clothes & accessories, to coffee, tea, plants, recyclable materials, candles, underwear….and the list continues. 

If you’ve stumbled on this post, you’re probably sick of the usual ones, like FabFitFun. You’re probably craving something specific (like new pairs of panties every month, perhaps?!?), or just something new & exciting. Well, you’ve come to the right place 🙂 I will tell you about at least 10 cool & unique subscription boxes below.

But first, let’s start by asking the most important question: 

What is a subscription box and why should you get one

Short version: a subscription box is a recurring, scheduled delivery of specific products. 

Long version. Companies create subscription boxes to promote a variety of the same product or a mix of similar products. 

The boxes are aimed at a specific audience, like book lovers or wine aficionados, for example. 

The hook / unique selling point is that the user can experience a wide variety of their favorite product on a monthly basis, at a fraction of the price. 

So people can sign up for a cool & unique subscription box that will be delivered every month at their door, for 3, 6, 12 months or more. Same companies offer 1 month subscription boxes, just so people can get a feel for the products and what they can expect, then they can order it for more months in advance.

I personally love cool & unique subscription boxes because

• They provide a wide variety of products, so I can test out more options available on the market;
• It’s easier to pay for a 6 month subscription once and be done with it, than actually paying for the box or individual products each month;
• The process of receiving the box is an experience in itself, because most of the time you don’t know what you’re getting in the first place.
